Armchair-O 15:00 [0]

Route to Christmas Day #2, a random sprint map graciously provided by Christian, and Gswede's log (frankly the closest thing to a TGIF log on AP right now).

Note

How my studying is getting done:
4 PM

Running 44:09 intensity: (24:06 @1) + (20:03 @2) 6.31 km (7:00 / km) +155m 6:14 / km
ahr:137 max:162

Evening de-stresser run.

Got through 20 minutes without problems with my foot, then starting hurting quite a bit, so was go, stop & stretch, go, etc.

Accidentally ended up on a trail that just got skinnier and skinnier and then ended up on this really cool spree slope. Wouldn't have been an issue, and would actually have been fun, if not for the elderly gentleman walking his dog (which was barking profusely, but was otherwise well-behaved) on the road on the bottom watching me come down...

Route to Christmas is back on WorldOfO. Always a nice study break.

Note

If this actually happens I might need some ice skates. Ponds will be frozen but not snow covered. Weird weather.
5 PM

Running 45:00 [1] 8.0 km (5:38 / km)

Garmin Connect not syncing with Attackpoint properly for me right now.

Got out for a de-stresser run to break up the studying. Unfortunately, things didn't go great on this run: my right foot hurt pretty much throughout and I had to stop several times to stretch it out. I got a bloody nose that wouldn't stop bleeding even when walking and pinching it, so had to sit down on a lot and pinch it harder for a while, a trail I was on just ended in some recent construction that was a big mud pit. But it was still really nice to get out.

Note

WhyJustRun Club Sites just got an upgrade this evening: https://sage.whyjustrun.ca/maps/
- Better map pin implementation now showing map standard (by colour)
- No More overlapping pins - moved to a graduated symbol systems when zoomed out
- Also an option for a new layout for upcoming events - now ordered by the series they are defined in. This was implemented for Sage so that we can show two upcoming events in each of our regions, as well as one previous event. https://sage.whyjustrun.ca/

Big thanks to Russell Porter for keeping WhyJustRun up and running, and xc-racer2 for the updates!

Core Strength 20:00 [1]

Stationary Biking 30:00 [1]

Had hoped to get out for a run, but too much to do at the moment with school. Down to 95% of a lab and a final paper and 5 exams to do.
