OART Upate:

All Maps are done.
- Artwork/Layouts for all maps are done.
- Courses are almost entirely finalized - three of them are getting one final vetting tomorrow morning.
- Event Package is on track to be published tomorrow around noon - I need to add the course distance, number of controls, and climbs and a couple of sample maps to it and it is good to go.

Left to Do:
- That bit of event package work - DONE
- Integrate any changes from last minute checking of tomorrow morning - DONE
- Sync all the SI units - DONE
- Assign SI units the courses - DONE
- Cut circles, lines, adjust numbering - DONE
- Generate pdf versions for controller to double check - DONE

- Set up sawhorses with SI clips - DONE (Thanks Dad!)
- Get MeOS files set up for each race - DONE (Thanks Jon!)

- Walk to Start Map for Postill (500m, a fair bit of off trail...)

Found these guys out mapping at Postill for OART today. I don't see this sort of critter very often around here:


Mapping Update:
Everything done, except around 1/2 of Postill. Everyone else's courses are all but confirmed, mine are about 3/4 done for OK College, and only rough ideas at Postill (it would help to have the map done). Everything on that front should be done by Wednesday, with event booklet out and ready sometime that evening or Thursday morning unless catastrophe strikes.

Exams over, OART Mapping Update:

Behind as per usual.

Wednesday (well actually Thursday morning half an hour after midnight...): Got UBCO map updated/expanded and delivered to the course setter.

Thursday: Fieldwork day on Becker Ridge, back home to Salmon Arm for the evening to visit some cousins traveling through. A couple hours of drafting in the evening
Friday Morning: 3 Hours of drafting on Becker Ridge - done and delivered to course setter.

Future Plan:
Friday Afternoon: Okanagan College Vernon - Fieldwork and drafting in the evening.
Saturday: Academy Hill fieldwork/drafting, and make something up for Haines Creek training.
Sunday: Running the Haines Creek club training event.
Monday: Start the Postill Map
Tuesday: More Postill Map
Wednesday: Course Set/Control courses
Thursday: Figure out everything SI related, bibs, brackets, etc.
Friday: Print - whatever else crazy shows up.
Saturday: Race Day
Sunday: Race Day
