Hiking 3:51:24 intensity: (2:21:24 @0) + (1:30:00 @1) 10.94 km (21:09 / km) +261m 18:54 / km

Being the Mule (45lb pack) for my older siblings and some friends or a little backpacking trip camping overnight on the top of East Peak of Mount Ida.

Down over the south side of the peak to the Saddle, and then back to the car by some dirtbiking trails and old logging roads.

GPS was struggling a bit with some bouncing while walking alongside the edge of the ridge.

Running the 2nd leg of the Lewiston Ultra (Larch Hills Chalet to Cec's Cabin) with Dad, Lil and Rob H. A lovely running loop with a good mix of single track, double track, logging road, and some no-tread trail.

Apparently made a small mistake on the route for a 400m section where we took one set of trail further north than we were supposed to, but distance was about the same either way.

Note

Lab time ran long on Monday (by like 4 hours), and on Tuesday (by 1.5 hours), so net result was that I got home at 5:15pm, and had a Zoom call to host on Sage Stomp GPS tracks/analysis by 7:00pm. Never have I made a presentation that rushed, but things seemed to work out ok (although would have been better if I had more time to prep). First time hosting a Zoom call too, so that was interesting.

Note

Sage Stomp seems to have gone off pretty well. Here's to hoping I can get a Zoom call together between all the different school stuff I need to do today and tomorrow.
