Rogaine 5:30:00 [3]

6 hour rogaine at Tarlo River National Park with Jose. Lucy had said it was a nice area so i talked Jose into going with me but with the cold and the rain we both weren't very enthusiastic on the day.

we started off at a slow jog but it was super slippery and rocky so it was pretty hard. i also fell over and smashed my hand on a rock after the first hour. i must have hit it right on a nerve because it really hurt! After that we slowed to a walk and ended up making a couple of mistakes too. Ended up to be an enjoyable day out in nice open forest with some great views from the peaks.

in retrospect the route i planned wasnt very good!! if we went the opposite direction to what i planned we would have got more points and had a lot more options at the end other than jogging down a track for 3.5km.

Mace and I did some 4x800 intervals at Lennox Gardens
I did 3:48, 3:50, 3:50 and 4:02 I was buggered at the last one
