City of Bristol Race - Men Open
Been ridiculously busy in the time leading up to the event so didn't have any time to prepare, and didn't have a great night of sleep before the event. Back held up ok for a change, but had a very sluggish start, with an undershoot at #2 and a dodgy route to #4. Eventually got going and into a decent rhythm, but it was a very physical course so was slower than I would have otherwise liked. Forced into extra climb going to #17 because the optimum route on the map had been inconsiderately closed off on the ground, slow to #22 because the map was very confusing around that area, and then lost concentration and ran straight past #32, which was an idiot move. Enjoyed the course but had to pull out of Sunday's event as it wasn't logistically feasible.
