PreAct, 6x lunges

20x HOH, stretch & ice at home

Notes: I know I shouldn't complain, but it was a chilly start this morning (frost on the grass and everything). Met up with the NPS group to practice running some of the trails for the upcoming 25 k race in Fort Ord. Definitely tackled the hills better today than usual. Managed to run further today on tougher terrain in a shorter period of time, which I'm happy with. Legs were definitely fatigued at the end.

Easy run with the dogs. Little bit of shin pain in left leg. Upper back was super tight and sore for the last 2 km or so.

Ended up having an accidental off day. I should have at least ran the dogs in the morning. I planned on doing a workout but work went super late and just couldn't squeeze it in. Feeling annoyed that work is taking up so much of my time.

Easy run with the dogs before work this morning. Wanted to do more, but ran out of time. Feeling sluggish and tired but overall good. Quads still sore but nothing holding me back.

Second run of the day felt a lot better. Weights were okay... annoyed with how people hog areas. Hard to get anything done.

This was pretty good. The effort was definitely right at the line. This workout definitely *felt* hard today. My legs still weren't recovered from Saturday's long run so things were sore and felt heavy. But I'm happy with my effort and happy to have tired legs... this means progress is being made!

Notes: Quads are super sore from yesterday's long run and neck is sore as well I think just from sleeping weird or maybe from driving in the car. This was an awesome pool session for me. My swimming is definitely improving and DWR doesn't terrify me anymore. Just going to keep at it and see how much I can improve!
