Notes: Running short on time but it's a recovery week so got the work in at lower mileage. Felt tired and sluggish to begin but got things rolling by the end. Went for a massage after to work on my back and shoulders. Legs are fatigued and body in general just feeling exhausted.

Notes: Great workout! These longer tempos have been feeling good. I kept the effort consistent all the way through and felt very happy with where I was. Focused on pumping the arms when legs fatigued and just stayed in the zone. Legs were sore and fatigued by the end. Going to sleep in tomorrow and do recovery run later in the day to optimize on rest.

Took a bit of extra time to sleep this morning and rest the legs. Felt fatigued and cranky after a long day of work, but ended up seeing Lisa out on the loop and had a nice conversation. Miles flew by and things felt good. Just what I needed.

Still having bike issues so taking the train to work. Will have to have some cross training in at some point this week.

Notes: Started feeling sore and sluggish. Got through the warm up and started feeling really good on the intervals. Just started crushing each set and picking people off as I went around the loops. Felt really strong and in control the whole time. Definitely could have ramped things up a bit earlier in the workout, but very happy with overall effort today.

Notes: Started at Columbus Circle (where we left off last Sunday) and kept running along the Greenway towards the George Washington Bridge. Ran the bridge until we hit New Jersey, then turned back. Ended up cutting a mile off on the way back which ended up being fine. It was super hot out and we were not quite prepared for the heat so cutting things down by 1 mile felt like the right choice. Right hip flexor was tight for the last 7 miles. It felt better after rolling. In general this was a decent run. Definitely a tough one.
