Running 20:00 [3] 4.44 km (4:30 / km)
shoes: Salomon Mantra

I cut my run off on Wednesday because I felt pain near my Achilles after a few steps. Today was my attempt back at running since then to see if the rest had helped. A mile into my run I felt fine and I was feeling very thankful. But then a few steps later I started feeling the slight pain again. So I turned around and walked a little and didn't feel any pain, I stretched and it felt fine. I started jogging slow again and after about 100 meters it started to bug me again. I just kinda repeated this until I got home. It doesn't feel sore or anything now.

I am pretty bummed about it. I'm not really sure what to do except ice and rest it and hope for the best. I'm going to try rolling and stretching a ton before I next attempt to go for a short jog. Maybe I can nurse it and deal with it, but I have some pretty ambitious races coming up so this is really bad timing.

Running 30:00 [3] 5.0 mi (6:00 / mi)
shoes: Salomon Mantra

This was stupid on my part, I did an easy 1 mile warmup and then went right into what was going to be a 10 mile tempo to see where I was at. I got half way through and started feeling pain near my achilles and called it off.
