| It hurt heaps but at least I could run fast on the foot. Pretty poor orienteering but I was just glad to be able to run hard so the poor result didn't really bug me. |

| Back to work today. Hole in the shoe works well so had a first crack at running tonight. Managed a slow 20 minutes in reasonable pain. Definitely not doing damage though. Looks like I can race in New Zealand this weekend so long as I can hack the pain. |

| Still in bed.
Went to physio. Looks like no major damage though it hurts like nothing else and walking is pretty tough. Did some experiments cutting out a hole in my insoles to stop me applying massive weight to the injury when I walk. |

| Wish I had gone orienteering today. Then I wouldn't have been running where I was when I hurt myself. Dumb way to think.
Doctor wants me to get a scan to check nothing left in the wound. Plus take 2 days off work. At least no stiches and looks like no structural damage. |

| Hard fartlek. 2min, 1min, 2min, 1min etc with 20 sec recovery. Lost a bit of form for the last few should have pushed the recovery out to 30sec.
Pretty good session but tired after. Won't run tonight. Save it for tomorrows race. |
