Running 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

Along the road in Foz do Iguacu (we are now on the Brazil side). Waited until dusk for the heat to come down a bit. Despite my cold I felt pretty good but I didn't want to do too much so limited it to half an hour.

Walking 4:00:00 [1] 12.0 km (20:00 / km)

Walking the various trails around the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. We did stop and start a lot but it was really hard going with the heat and humidity.

Moreno Glacier is still the number 1 sight on our trip but Iguazu runs a close second.

Running 25:00 [3] 5.0 km (5:00 / km)

In Puerto Iguazu

How to make a run as difficult as possible...
1. arrive from a mild location to a place with 32deg and 90% humidity
2. have a cold
3. step off a plane (after a turbulent flight)
4. don't drink for 4 hours before
5. start at the highest point and run downhill then turn around and run back uphill.

All things considered I think I did well to manage 25 minutes. Thought about a swim afterwards but the guy cleaning chairs next to the hotel pool let the dodgy electricity cord run right through the pool so I gave it a miss.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 12.0 km (5:00 / km)

Our hotel is in central Buenos Aires so I took the metro out about 7 stops for the start of my run which became a tour of some of the cities key outdoor sights. I started around the botanical gardens (had to run around the outside as it was still closed), the Eco parque, the Monumento de los Espanoles "Monument of the Spanish", the rose garden, the planetarium, the Japanese garden, the Floralis Generica, the National Arts Museum and finally past the entrance to Recoleta Cemetery before running back through the streets for the last 2k.

We visited the cemetery two days ago. It would make an amazing sprint map (probably at 1:2000, any larger scale you would struggle to map every passable route). You can check it out on Google Earth if you are interested.

Buenos Aires is a really beautiful city.
