Warmest day of spring. Went up the creek and back down again. The warmth brought the snakes out. Someone walking their dog warned me of a snake just ahead. No drama since I was taking another path only to come across another brown snake 500 meters later lazing on the pavement. After that I was taking a few nervous glances in the grass as I jogged along.

Trying to work out what sort of training I should do the rest of the week. My resting heart rate has been hovering at 44 and 45 for the last few nights (usually 41). Haven't been sleeping that well either. Been getting up for 60-90min at 2 or 3 am the last few nights when I just can't seem to stay asleep. Just having a tough last few weeks running wise.

Worked a very long day today with not much of a break so went for a long evening walk to at least get some exercise.
