Real Orienteering race (Korong Spur) 54:52 [3] **** 5.65 km (9:43 / km) +200m 8:15 / km
spiked:10/13c shoes: Salamon Blue

The majority of time lost was through route choice rather than losing location.
I had to run course 2 due to time constraints, which is a pity. I would enjoy a Bendigo fixture with more of this sort of terrain. Might make my aim for the next year or three to make this happen. It will be quite a few years before the next carnival up here (not before 2021 or 2022 I think). I

Exploring potential granite terrains. Classic curates egg experience. No, a little girl with a curl experience. When it was good it was very very good. When it was bad it was horrid.
This looks really good terrain from the photo. To be fair, the total area of this block is 7 sqk and you would be lucky if the granite area totalled half a sqk.

spiked:12/14c shoes: Salamon Blue

Enjoyed the second red line race in the one weekend. One parallel gully error that cost a minute and an uncertainty that cost 20 seconds. Other than that,can't see how I can be faster other than being fitter and younger.
