Sprint on gold mining terrain. I was faster here than in the school campus (well straight line). Jumped 15 places. Well I did know the map. But I don't think that accounted for all of it. I am just more used to this form of navigation. Discussions afterwards revealed that quite a few orienteers didn't discern the main features to navigate by... white on the map represents isolated tree canopy. One of the controls that made the most errors was easily simplified to right of the first canopy and left of the second.
