Real Orienteering race (Mt Lofty) 1:46:24 [2] *** 6.4 km (16:37 / km) +260m 13:49 / km
ahr:85 max:133 spiked:16/19c shoes: Salamon Speedcross 4 blue No 2

Managed to do course 3 on this new map. Nice running terrain, though I was less than capable of running. Carrying a knee problem on one leg and a muscle problem on the other, I only managed to get round by walking with two trecking poles! Not much training the next couple of weeks. Hydro pool, deep massage will be more the theme.
Worst error on the gps was not an error, but a diversion to assist a confused spouse. David Goddard came past and accused us of pillow talk.

Note
(injured)

Torn gluteaus muscle right leg. Previous experience suggests three weeks minimum.

Real Orienteering race (Kangaroo Gully) 52:17 [3] 6.32 km (8:16 / km) +125m 7:32 / km
shoes: Salamon Speedcross 4 blue No 2

First local event of the year for me.
Fell between 6 and 7. The point is the red on the quickroute trace. Tore the right hamstring. Not bad enough to stop me running, but perhaps I should have stopped. Was slower after that and distracted. Made a massive error on 10. Edge of the map has changed somewhat and I made a parallel there with someone else. Lost 5.30.
Not sure I can run at the SS on Sunday. Will probably just walk part of the course.

Note
(injured)

Patella tracking issue. Previous experience suggests six days to recover.
