Up the Nab - English Champs Short Race

Legs not feeling great and absolutely exhausted in general from revision and it was a bit short for what i like so i wasn't expecting greatness.

There were many more hills than i had been warned about which did not do my legs any favours and the route had changed making it about double the time i was expecting. Also incredibly hot.

That said i felt like i ran okay, back and stomach in a lot of pain but i think that's just general life/exam stress. The uphills felt terrible but the down hills weren't too bad and felt like i was ahead of people i am normally around. Was 28th overall and 3rd U23 so pretty happy.

Calf pretty tight so didn't even jog home from work today - very much looking forward to my massage tomorrow, did a bit of core this morning but it hardly counts!

Legs feeling good on the way over and i was just enjoying the beautiful sunshine. After a couple of reps my right glute seized up completely so i just did 6 out of the original 8 i had planned and called it a day. Surprisingly strong headwind going up heroes which wasn't particularly helpful. Will probably jog back after work tonight and then head to the gym with Millie and make sure to stretch and roll enough. Massage booked for Thursday.
