BUCS XC - Graves Park. 55th!
Feeling good despite being tired from last weekend so it's really nice to have finished so high up. 2nd uni in behind Becky which I'm super proud of. Went off hard and just kept pushing. The course was good for me - lots of mud and relatively hilly so i just stomped past everyone on the downhills and tried to hand on the rest of the time! Added excitement in the form of hay bales and a dodgy ditch which people kept falling in and one guy ended up with a broken wrist. Also i had forgotten how bitchy racing can be - no one had any qualms about elbowing people/pushing people aha. Anyway, pleased.

Recovery run into riv. Wanted to do a long run but felt I should be a bit careful. But then I met Jihanna on my way back and did a cheeky extra allotments loop. Legs feeling fine. Back a little achey cos I skipped a warm down in favour of our traditional ice cream eating so feeling stiff now!
