Eaton parkun. In the training plan as 'go for it' just just went to see what would happen. Hardly anyone here because of the half tomorrow but plodded along nicely. There was no one to pull me along so I'm really pleased with only 6 seconds off my eaton pb. Felt like i had more to give but planning on racing Trunce on monday so wasn't keen to go completely flat out.

From the valley floor using the fields as reps - 1,2,3,4,3,2,1 making sure to just keep plodding on and working on push and not walking. Although my legs definitely got into burn mode I wasn't actually tempted to walk at all which was surprising because I always want to walk up that hill! Jog down recovery and back home.

Race simulation (felt like poo and legs totally destroyed) followed by 4 hilly triangle loops (med, fast, med, fast). Legs feeling not top of the world.

Sunday long run from the Norfolk Arms out to Burbage and round to surprise view. Then off to Grindleford and through Longshaw and back through Fox House back to Lady Cannings. Larrrrvely day.

Chris took me to the gym and taught me to squat and dead lift properly... then he attempted to teach me to row as well. Looking into mobility, especially ankle and going to work on strength and technique over the next few months.
