1st Women's Team
Alice stupidly (although it turns out it wasn't so stupid after all) asked me to be her relay partner so off i went in the snow. Started about a min after everyone else because i was chatting to Trin who couldn't find the start punch. There were 18 gaffles so i actually had to navigate and had Patrick along for the run so didn't want to look like a complete idiot. 1st leg didn't make any nav errors (as far as I'm concerned anyway) and made it home in front of most of the other gals - suspicious. Alice wasn't ready for me to be back so soon so was still in all her layers hehe. She whizzed round whilst i got cold and then off again. Don't think i made any mistakes here either -- what is going on?! Did make a mini error on leg 5 as i thought i was going to a hill and it turned out to be a ditch but regardless we came back first. Alice probably regretted asking me to be her partner as i was very competitive in the winners beer race.
