I designed a red - length, Orange difficutly course at Hartwood Acres. The hills were rather manageable at this park, and the woods were some of the best of any WPOC maps. It printed a little weird, so it was actually more like 1:7500 than 1:10, so i tried to push the pace since map reading wasnt too difficult at that scale.

Mostly pretty happy with route choices. Not sure I really found the features at 1 and 3, but i was in the circle, and didnt waste time wandering around looking for them. Had a couple route choices on the long legs that I am pretty proud of.

I will definitely come up with some more stuff for this park since it was so nice! First adventure in the books for the orange adventuremobile!

Got out early enough that i avoided most of the rain. A light sprinkle on and off and a few minutes of heavier rain. Tried to pick it up on the downhill section at the end. Legs felt pretty good - probably cuz this was a pretty bad week for me.

Got a little distracted checking out some trails during mile 4
