Moms are busy packing stuff up so I think today is our last day in this weird warm place. I thought the house we were staying in was our house but today we went to a different house that moms called "our house". There were people I didn't know in it and some dogs in the backyard, so I don't think it's actually our house. Mom wouldn't have dogs.

I have HANDS!

Today was so cool. First we went to this place with trees and shade and it wasn't nearly so hot as the regular places. Then mom took a small bag out of the car and inside the bag was a little house! She called it a "tent" but I know what a tent is, it's a tiny thing that only fits a couple of people, and only if they really like each other. This "tent" could fit AT LEAST twelve of me, so I think it's actually a house.



We hung around the house for a little while, then mom made a fire and showed mom how to eat an MRE, which for some reason they thought was fun. I didn't see any milk so I'm not sure what all the excitement was about.



At one point mom heard a rustling noise coming from the creek and then saw something she called a skunk. For some reason she didn't really want to share dinner with it which is too bad, it was so cuddly! We should have invited it in to our house with us. She also said something about hoping the dogs at the other end of the campground tried to play with it. I didn't think mom liked dogs so I'm not really sure why she was so excited about them having a new play companion.

Today mom and I went for a walk in Sabino Canyon and then headed back to that nice, dark feeding room with the cool nature videos while we waited for mom to finish running. We learned all about the different animals in Sabino Canyon. Or at least mom did, I was too busy eating. It's so great that the National Forest Service sets up rooms like this just for eating!

After that we went to this place called Zivaz so moms could eat. It's so inconvenient that moms have to eat real food instead of milk. It must not even taste very good since they are always trying different kinds of food. I don't know why they bother.

We took a tour of the Botanical Gardens with a nice lady who knew a lot about planting trees in the desert. The rest of the people on the tour were nurses and they couldn't stop talking about how cute I am. I don't blame them at all, I am way cuter than a bunch of spiny trees.

Today we went to this place called the Desert Museum with Jesse and Helen. I thought museums were in buildings but this museum looked just like the rest of this state, only with a higher density of non-lizard animal life. Mom showed me all kind of animals. Or at least I think she did, I couldn't really see them.
