Night hike beneath the brilliant stars. Orion the Great Hunter sparkling above me. A little scary on a very dark and windy night, and then I hear rustling beside me and creaking up ahead. Must be the wind stirring the Wyethia amplexicaulis and shaking the Pinus ponderosa. Suddenly up ahead I see a wolf-like form. I was greeted by Bitar, who is half malmute and half wolf. She looked calm and docile, but I made sure to stay clear of her territory.
