Hiked over Rockbound Pass, then left our overnight gear at Kerrick Meadows. Then we hiked off-trail, climbed up and over several Class 2-3 ridges, and saw some gorgeous lakes. Absolutely beautiful day. Camped at Kerrick Meadows, with the wind howling all night long.

Climb up through golden aspen groves with the best of friends, David, Don, and Kim, to a beautiful cirque, then up past several lakes and granite ridges to camp out at Snow Lake. The lake was so calm and clear that the surrounding granite cliffs and snow banks reflected perfectly in the water. High point today 10,120'.
