Went to the golf course and enjoyed running on nice soft grass - without snow, rocks, or river crossings to negotiate.

Up towards the pass, which is still snowbound. Crossed a couple of snowbanks and carried my bike over a large downed Pinus ponderosa but then there was too much snow so had to turn around. First time cycling the new bridge which was rebuilt last fall. Silky smooth asphalt - not many vechicles have crossed it yet.

Finally had a chance to go running, now that enough snow has melted to open up part of the trail along the main river up the canyon. The creek and streams are overflowing and the rocks on the stream crossings are very slippery. Still a lot of large, deep snow patches to negotiate which really slowed down my pace. Beautiful day.
