Bike commute. Cool and crisp.

Running 52:00 [3] 5.4 mi (9:38 / mi) +55m 9:20 / mi
shoes: Timberland Vapor Trail

Nice run in the main meadow, then the upper trail. Several snow sections (about 2 feet deep) along the trail, interspersed with dry sections in great condition. The main meadow is filled with snowmelt water and looks like a lake. Ran through several big puddles and had to climb over eight downed trees. Total climb = 55 m + 8 m (climbing over downed trees).

Upper body weight lifting.

Parivrtta virabhadra konasana sequence on the promontory with the river rushing by. This sequence is good for stretching the hamstrings.

Cycling hills 1:43:00 [3] 17.0 mi (6:04 / mi) +573m 5:29 / mi

Climb both sides of ski slope. Total elevation gain = 111 feet per mile. Too narrow and windy to get much speed on the descents.

Cycling hills 3:00:00 [3] 29.0 mi (6:12 / mi) +1070m 5:34 / mi
shoes: SIDI Genius

Climb Mt. Rose Pass, elevaiton 8900'. Climbed to the summit, then part way down the other side, then back up again. The wind picked up when I reached the summit and stayed windy the rest of the ride. That, combined with the shoulders that have not yet been cleaned of gravel and debris, made for slower than usual descents.

Beautiful day, with elevation gain of 122 feet per mile.

Hiking 35:00 [2] 2.3 mi (15:13 / mi) +79m 13:45 / mi
