Sunday Jun 1

Cycling 3:38:00 [3]44.0 mi (4:57 / mi) +761m 2:55 / km

Climb up to the pass. Skirted four snowbanks where there was about a foot of pavement clear, but had to dismount and walk the bike through eight snowbanks that completely covered the road. Stopped to remove branches from the road, then skirted a large-diameter downed Pinus Ponderosa that covered all but about 10" of the road. The snow above the cliffs is metling out, and creating a shallow but rapid creek that I had to ford along one section of the road.

By the time I reached the top, my rims and brakes were covered with snow.

Finished the ride with a nice section along the lake and over to the park.
