Lassen National Volcanic Park with seven friends. The storm brought another 24" of new snow. We dug an avalanche profile pit at the top of The Elevator and found sluffing in our compression tests at 13 and 21. We skied slightly lower angle slopes in the trees and found no sluffing. Wonderful silky soft descents with the thigh-deep snow fluffing out on our turns. Great weekend of ski mountaineering with good friends.

Lassen National Volcanic Park with nine friends. Breaking trail through 18" of new snow from the storm that just arrived last night, and the descents were fantastic.
