Running race (Rochester Fair Share 5K) 27:30 [4] 6.0 km (4:35 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6

12:30 PM. 50 degrees.
The Fair Share 5K was intended to raise the awareness of the inequity in state funding for upstate cities. It was an untimed, casual 5+K on the inner loop with the mayor.

The run lacked road marshals for the first 2 of us through the (apparent) turnaround. We thought we were running the entire inner loop. 1/3 mile later, an officer indicated that we were off course. After a 5 minute detour and jumping a few guardrails, we got back on the course, but several dozen people had made the turn already. It was a nice day for a hard run.

I was tight from the long Saturday run right from the start, but I held up okay.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 2.0 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6

Ran back out on the course and jogged in with the mayor.

Walking (Neighborhood Walk) 1:00:00 [3] 4.0 mi (15:00 / mi)
