Walking home from the train felt really pooped and legs, especially shins, tired and a bit sore

Next week I'll try to take it easy

Jukola training map Rajajärven suppa, 7km course

It was really warm (+25) and I was kinda hungry already when starting. Felt really tough straight from the beginning, just wrecked physically. Especially my feet were sore, all those tiny muscles.

Physically started to feel a bit better as I went along but I did also walk a lot. My brain started to get tired too and stupid mistakes. Had a lot of trouble to 11 which wasn't even that difficult and just felt tired and uninterested at this point so decided to skip the last three controls.

All in all not a great day in the office, not physically or technically.

Was feeling okay today before the orienteering. There tummy started to hurt again, I don't get why! Feels like bad heatburn maybe. Legs also got tired fast especially on uphills, clearly not fully recovered yet.

Really tired when got home, super busy and hectic day at work and then training after that. I think the orienteering was a bit too much for me this early. Now I'm thinking rest until orienteering during the weekend.

HS 6km course from Monday's event in Solvalla

Did the course with Marianne. In the beginning jogged more, then my tummy started hurting and mostly walked the rest. First time in Nuuksio for me. Lots of trails and we took the trail options mostly. Didn't even feel like I'd want to go straight with my legs getting tired fast. Also twisted my ankle at one point but only hurt for a small bit and then felt okay.

Feeling normal today! Cycled to work and back already, legs felt okay. Shins a bit sore when twisting my ankles but otherwise legs are feeling normal.

Still haven't had proper appetite and maybe a bit tired (could be because of work though). Surprised how well I've recovered already.

Still a bit stiffer than normal and muscles get tired fast

Monday May 7 #


Been feeling normalish today already! A bit tired maybe. Legs stiff but nowhere near as bad as after my first Jukola for example! Decided not to cycle today to/from work, maybe tomorrow I could already.

Haven't had an appetite all day, been forcing myself to eat at least something. Weird for me!

Was supposed to go orienteering today since tonight's event was included in HS Jukola-koulu, but couldn't leave work early enough. Maybe good? Going to try and go do the course another night this week.
