Yoga with Adriene: Yoga for Runners

Decided to try this! Just different asanas stretching hips etc, no strength stuff. Could notice some tight spots so I think I should continue doing this at least sometimes. 30 Days of Yoga feels a bit better though since it's more variety, everything from stretching to strength and balance.

Running home from work.

Legs were really heavy and tired today!! I'm not sure why. The long run was on Saturday so shouldn't be that anymore. I couldn't run all the way, had to walk bits. Calves and shins just feeling tight and sore. Started feeling slightly better towards the end, maybe I should've continued for a bit to get the legs looser.

Had a chat with one of our partners today, he did 160km trail ultra over the weekend! He recommends Karhunkierros rather than Ylläs for 30km next year but I think Ylläs timing is better, Karhunkierros is only 3 weeks before Jukola.

30 Days of Yoga, day 12

Today was lots of balancing! Useful but could feel the tiny muscles in my footses being like 'whats happening?!'. I think I should do balancing barefoot more, might help my shins too to strengthen my feet
