Omatoimi-iltarastit somewhere in Sauvo with Oskari. Was supposed to do 2hr long run today but switched it to o instead.

I picked 6A course but really shouldve gone with 4A like Oskari.. Anni home with kids and we promised to get pizza on the way home I felt the pressure to get back fast.

All good until 5, corrected quickly but saw Oskari on 6. I had some extra controls after that one so pressure increased! Also a freshly cut down area on the way to 7 not on the map (but there was a smaller cut down area on the map) - ended up overshooting quite a bit but managed to correct surprisingly quickly after noticing. Struggles to 8 and 9 too.

At this point I noticed it had been over an hour and I had 15 controls in total.. Decided to bail, 10 was on the way so picked that (small mistake again) and then just ran south. Happy with the decision: even straight to the car took 15mins, if I went through 5 more controls zigzagish towards the car I wouldve easily spent 45mins more in the forest.

It was kinda fun to orienteer after a break and first 4 controls I nailed and felt super in control. Was surprisingly tired towards the end though so still a long way to go to #top1000...
