Now the weather was around 20 degrees warmer, running alone and having to figure out the route on my own. However, also almost 3yrs of training behind me since the race in Oct 2018, weighing 8kg less and in downhills I actually think running alone allowed me to go faster than in a crowd.
Annoyed by not going under 2hrs but just couldnt catch up in the final climb. I made a route mistake once and had to double back, probably lost 30sec, and stopped to take a few pics on Mäkrä - probably wouldve been under 2hrs without these..
Overall quite happy, especially Mäkrä felt a lot easier than I remembered. Legs were happy throughout, small niggle in right IT band getting closer to satama and the last climb but nothing major. Aerobic fitness was more the limiting factor which I was a bit surprised by and actually happy with: means my legs are stronger than I thought.
