Spent some time turning the map over and over in my hands and then set off for 202 thinking to go up the hill before deciding that was the last thing I wanted to do at the start.... came back down to 212... defin. itely noticeable that haven't run a score event since the end of the last season as just couldn't make decisions easily! From then on it was relatively obvious how to clear that side of the map. 215, 214, 216, 217 past the cows watching passively in the woods 227 up for 218 and 229, have been wondering whether I should have sacrificed either these or 230 in order to get the high pointers at the other end, but at this point I still thought I had an outside chance (!) of getting the lot.... down through some hollybushes in short shorts (always fun!) Rhys caught me here so 230, 219 together where he got ahead. 222 back with Rhys as he got muddled exiting the woods. 228, 221, 203, 223, 226, bailed out of the eastern high pointers and back for 205. Made silly mistake going through fields instead of round the roads here, losing time on slippy climb. 205, 208, 206 dithered then decided to skip 207 and go straight down for 210, 209 and into finish. 465 points by my reckoning.....
