Lovely to be out in the forest on such a sunny day and some really nice bits to run through. Quite a bit of windblown branches and fallen trees. Mostly happy if a bit tired. Found a group of people by number 2 scratching their heads, one boy having a total sense of humour failure, yelling and swearing that the control had been moved... I ran through them to the actual control site then yelled back that it was just there, not sure if they heard or believed me...... sounded like he'd already ruined his day for himself... Not sure about my route choice form 5-6, went straight north up a ride but it was so overgrown that I practically stood on a boar... all of a sudden the bracken moved and snorted... 11-12 the most gorgeous running, soft mossy forest it was easy to just get a bit lost in the lovelyness... 12-13 subsequently went a bit wrong think I must have drifted west and been lower down that I had intended. Should really have gone up to the path on the east and run along that.... fantastic fun though and such lovely sunshine...

So much fun running in the wind and snow! A few silly "wrong way round a bush" mistakes, and having decided to run around 12-13 I then stupidly went straight up the steep path rather than run up the sloping path.

Tired and achey. Not into it at all today, not concentrating or paying attention. Map was pretty rubbish in places too which didn't really help.
