Day 5. Walked to the start, felt okay but not great, unsure of what to do, picked up map and thought ‘let’s walk to number one.’ Got there, feeling considerably worse (foggy head, eyes closing, blurry vision, everything really bright and loud.) Walked back to the arena. Just a bit exhausted, perhaps one day too many for me.

Anyway, another Oringen over. Gutted to not be competitive for 2nd year in a row, patience is pretty much none existent but got to look at the positives- ran (almost all of) 2 courses, both of which were around an hour! So that’s definitely something!

Day 4. Walked round. Felt fine and could’ve jogged some but glad I didn’t as I was pretty knackered by ~6pm.

Orienteering 59:00 [3] 6.5 km (9:05 / km)

Day 3. Everything was good- head clear, legs good, HR good and energy was there. Could run most of the course at a steady pace! Had a glimpse of what proper running feels like again. Best part was comparing splits and routes with the girls after. Felt good for the afternoon/evening. Great day.

Oringen day 1, D20. Ran pretty much all of it, felt good :) Lovely terrain. Slept for a while in the afternoon.
