Lost all the data on my watch so have no clue of distance and climb, just guesses from looking at the map. This was the coolest area I have ever run in in Auckland! I run up the hill furthest south in woodhill on the Muriwai map and behind Houghtons bush camp. I have no idea why it hasn't been remapped and used for a big event, the combination of ferny low vis open running pines, soft low thinnings, small maze like replantings and open steep native bush was awesome. Not only that, the orienteering was super tricky, and with a massively out of date map, even trickier! I would be surprised if Oceania/World Masters long maps get anywhere near this in terms of goodness..
