Everyone must have been pumped tonight cos we were smashing the warm up quite quick!

5 laps jogging with a 150m stride at some percentage effort around 90 (no one was listening). Ended up being 5 strides at an effort closer to 100%, my times were ~18,19,20 kind of region. Thought I was going to wipe out and get spiked going round the corner, never done strides round one before and the track was a little slippery!

Halved the actual time recorded on drills cos we stuffed around so long, first time the sprinters have started their session before us much to their coach's amusement!

Technique training, 15min warm up thinking about form ignoring whether I was too fast/too slow. 3 hard strides, 2 race pace strides focusing on moving arms and legs correctly. 15min warm down very easy.

20min warm up, 10 x 1min (1), 20min down. Nothing too tough with a race next weekend, plan was to have an easy weekend after so much long runs/races recently. Very wet day, almost got swept off my feet in a stream(river) and there were new streams appearing everywhere never seen the forest so flooded. Very very very muddy (fun) even by riverhead standards...
