Suprisingly steep climb up the mt going the wrong way. Descent was beautiful, dropped 95m over 1km alone and could just sit back spinning the wheels. I can run downhills really well at the moment, easily dropped the other guys even at a really easy effort.

Meeting my new coach. Did some strides, a mile with 100m on, 100 off. Ran comfortable 14s but my head was elsewhere. Coach seems pretty chill, will have a good chat after Australia. Out to the airport tomorrow at 6, getting excited!

Jogged over to long bay and over the hills. Google maps lied about the distance, but with the tracks slipping over the cliffs not sure I would have got much further anyway.. looked like a closure in the distance :(

Feeling good now, the cold was a good chance for a timely rest. Nice to be able to creep the kms up and feel like I'm having a restful week. Looking forward to some solid performances at Aus champs - my training after Europe has gone nicely.

Jogged waiuku AOS then went for a jog round the coast. Nice and relaxed, my cold didn't effect me too much
