10k local road race
4.5k shuffle home (uphill)

It appears this week I've taken a turn to training for a 70.3 (just kidding) minus the swimming. In reality, my elective has been normal people hours of 9-4pm, which has freed up a huge amount of time (also its 30mins faster to get to Burnaby by bike) . Signed up last minute for the race, so was shoved in the way back among the strollers and tutu wearing enthusiasts. Pace progressed per km, minus the 1k of straight uphill in the middle of the race. Also witnessed two race photographers get into a fist fight in the last km of the race which was a first.
Legs officially dead after 100 km of running and 150+ km of cycling this week.

Jumped into a structured workout with the mile 2 marathon group in Vancouver, which has lots of fast people to work with. Started around 4:05/loop pace down to about 3:45/loop

Easy 10k downtown Vancouver with a local running club

Bike to and from downtown Van approx 10km round trip with a nasty 3k of climbing on the way home
