Event: Point Pinole

11 AM

Orienteering race 27:05 [5] **** 4.67 km (5:48 / km) +100m 5:14 / km
24c (sick) shoes: Oroc X-Talon 230 Flame

3 extremely fast-paced loops with 216 forking combinations. Can't really identify errors because everything happened so fast lol. Beginning to feel better tho

Life after the first loop:

Thursday Jan 23 #

4 PM

Running 28:19 [4] 5.17 km (5:29 / km) +130m 4:52 / km
(sick) shoes: HOKA Clifton 5

No steam at all today. At least my cat agreed to getting picked up once I got home so that made it all better.

Note
(sick)

sick again... felt it incoming during the weekend but it held off until now...

Tuesday Jan 21 #

3 PM

Running 35:04 [4] 6.66 km (5:16 / km) +230m 4:29 / km
shoes: HOKA Clifton 5

Few things are as simultaneously depressing and exhilarating as running in the rain. Mainly just a recovery run... I heard during the weekend that all pros do cooldown runs. :) The downhill was fun; playing Levitate by TØP which is a great rhythm song.

Note
(rest day)

oof back to school after a weekend full of dodging cholla and defying physics when going up and down cliffs...
