Hill Run 1:25:00 [3] 8.4 mi (10:07 / mi) +618m 8:14 / mi
slept:8.0

The xc race was cancelled (snow and ice) so went running with a couple of mates (Ross B and Ross G) up Fyrish Hill and the next hill west. Fairly steady with one very slow mile due to snow drifts (a new meaning to "high knees" !!). Ross G and I raced the last 2 miles or so pretty quick where the hill gets a bit less steep and the path very runnable. Good fun :)

slept:7.25

Easy run with 8 x hill sprints on 15% tarmac road (the road up to the heights) and 6 stride outs to finish. Legs felt pretty flat during the run, the stride outs really helped to perk them up !!
Feeling good.

Dead flat and dead easy run through Aviemore. Definitely feeling the effects of yesterday's session, hopefully this will shift the fatigue. This aside, feeling good.

Trail Run 1:40:06 [3] 15.0 mi (6:40 / mi) +354m 6:13 / mi
slept:7.75

Progression run with Dave out and back on the Boath road as far as Loch Morie. Started out well, feeling strong after 40 mins and comfortable at a good pace. Turned around after 50 mins running and picked up the pace still further on the return. At about 65 mins it started to bite a bit but persevered and got comfortable with the pace again. I had misjudged the profile and there were a couple of drawn out ascents between 70 and 90 mins which really took there toll !! Anyway, very pleased with the 90 min progression run :) jogged for 10 mins as a warm down.
