Balmoral 15 mile trail race.
4 miles out into a headwind. Probably went off a little too quick but was determined to lead from the start.
Felt a bit flat after mile 5 so gubbed a delicious torq gel and quickly regained form !
Managed to burn off 2nd and 3rd placed guys on the long hill, felt excellent running up it.
Gubbed another gel at mile 10.5 and continued to run flat out to prevent 2nd place getting back to me.
The last wee hill was hard work, didn't feel good at all ! Managed to come off it strong though and the final decent (relatively steep in places) was fast and suited me perfectly.
All good :)
Total ascent is guessed as I don't know what the profile is !!
