O-Race at Arncliffe - BUSA Orienteering Championships 2007.
Great area with awesome planning... steep as hell in the 1st half but got easier and we had to come down to finish!
So good but crocked my ankle again so hobbled from no 13. Ah well... R.I.C.E is nice.

Was doing really crap anyway and just started to get my act together after number 4, but as luck would have it I found a bloody large sticky out rock in the undergrowth after number 7 and went head over heels...and over on my left ankle...the one I twisted very badly at JWOC 2005 Classic Race.
I heard a click and the pain wasn't too bad after about 5 minutes... but was better not to run around the rest of the course - as it was painful and could have done more damage!!
Got bloody freezing walking to the finish/download!
Not happy in the slightest.

WRE Whitbarrow Scar and UK Cup 2007.

Was doing great until about 40mins in. Started catching people and also losing concentration.

Not bad for running twice since my illness - i could tell the lack of training - couldn't run that hard and also started to make mistakes when tired.
The BEST area for a long while. So rocky, so complex and awesome picturesque orienteering.
Great Stuff - Enjoyed it sooooo much!

Felt really knackered tonight... Managed to catch Jenny and Jane but then they caught me running at the traffic lights.
Gears don't work due to rust on the main cog so i was stuck in a hard gear all the way up the hill... was so painful!!

Note

Knee, Glut and quad feels really tight tonight! Felt it lots up the hills so did lots of stretching and things that Lizzie told me to do.
Ahh physios... amazing!
