ORIENTEERING race (Whitbarrow World Ranking) 1:17:00 [5] **** 9.2 km (8:22 / km) +335m 7:05 / km
spiked:20/26c shoes: VJ Twisters

WRE Whitbarrow Scar and UK Cup 2007.

Was doing great until about 40mins in. Started catching people and also losing concentration.

Not bad for running twice since my illness - i could tell the lack of training - couldn't run that hard and also started to make mistakes when tired.
The BEST area for a long while. So rocky, so complex and awesome picturesque orienteering.
Great Stuff - Enjoyed it sooooo much!

RUNNING warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Warm up before race.

RUNNING warm up/down 20:00 [3] 2.0 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: VJ Twisters

Warm Down - 2km from Finish to Assembly area.
Felt knackered and drained from the wind on the top of the scarp slope.

Awesome - Bigland!

RUNNING hills (Up t'Fells) 1:20:00 [4] 6.0 mi (13:20 / mi)
(sick) shoes: VJ Twisters

Up the side of the Old man - from coniston - to the tarn, around a bit and back down... back for a few pints!

To Work... gentle..

Really hot and sunny! wow...this is England!

Note

Getting over my cough.
Should be ok for the weekend: Traveling to the Lake District to Train with ShUOC and UDOC.
Then running in World Ranking Event on Sunday.

Nice - hopefully I can breathe!
