run: rec (run + strength) 46:45 [1] 9.51 km (4:55 / km)
slept:6.0 weight:115lbs

9min run to saville, strength, 38min run home

this was pretty good. hang clean/split press was 4x(30-35-35-38). upping the weight felt really easy, maybe it's time to move up to the green weights!

run: track 44:30 [3] 10.06 km (4:25 / km)
slept:8.0

activation, 20min wu, active wu, couple accels in spikes
2x100m, wb rec (17.0, 16.5)
600m (33 - 65/66 - 1:38/39)
10min tempo outside
4x200m FFF 200m jog rec, in spikes (35.5, 33.9, 34.2, 33.3)
10min cd

i don't know how to feel about this, if i'm satisfied with what i did or not. i was feeling the effects of the past couple weeks. i'm not super high mileage to begin with but the volume has been quite a bit higher than i historically go during track season. i tried the 2x100 to feel out the pace and they were slower than i was shooting for haha. to pace the 1k, nicole asked for me to go through in 1:37 and then see what happens. so i was slow right from the get go, and when i got to 600 i knew hitting another 33s lap wasn't going to be easy so i dropped out. i felt bad for not being a very good rabbit, but in retrospect i think nicole would have ran the way she did no matter what, and i like to tell myself that the pacing played more in morgan's favour and she ended up having a superb run haha. i have no idea if that's true but i'm sticking to that story. did the tempo with nicole because it just didn't feel like we had done enough and it was actually really nice to get some aerobic work in outside. the point of the 200's was to just get the legs moving a bit quicker again and get a bit more contact with the track before calling it a day.

run: track 46:55 [3] 10.9 km (4:18 / km)
slept:7.0

activation, 20min wu, active wu, 4x50m in spikes
5x200m w/ 200m jog rec
6min rec, 400m, 11min rec
800m, 7min rec, 400m, 3min rec
5x200m "FFF" w/ 200m jog rec (everything in flats)
16.5min cd

35.5, 35.5, 34.7, 34.8, 34.7 (i led 1, 3, 5)
69.7, 2:19.3, 68.8 (i led the 400's)
33.7, 33.6, 34.2, 33.9, 33.7 (ran the last 3 solo)

this was pretty deecent. looks like a big session on paper but there was lots of recovery, but it was always a jog (except i think we walked a lap after the 8?). took 11min before the 800 because we were waiting for mark to be ready to pace us. was feeling good today so i wanted to do a good amount of volume. worked well with NS, except was kind of on my own for the 800 because once again the pace went out a little too hot for my liking, but it was fine and i'm happy with it. was nailing the paces i wanted to run today and it felt strong and smooth. good stuff!
