Hard work, stroke all over the place. Must find out about adult swim schools to get my technique (or rather the lack of...) sorted out. Am trying to build up to putting my head under water, very little success as yet.
Stretching 5:00 [0]

Thursday Feb 22

Dancing 2:00:00 [1]
(injured)
Ceroc Class. Once again I am slightly unwilling to include as a training session but clearly my coordination needs a great deal of work, who knows when a timely hip shimmy and pirowet may save me from running full speed into a tree trunk.

Wednesday Feb 21

Gym 30:00 [3]
(injured)
5mins ergo
20mins exercise bike
5mins chest weights

Tuesday Feb 20

swimming 40:00 [3]1.2 km (33:20 / km)
(injured)
Felt really hard work, very laboured, technique was not great. Am trying to overcome my resistance to putting my head under the water but am not getting very far with it at the moment. Groin felt a bit sore from all the breast stroke.
Stretching 25:00 [1]
(injured)
Stretching. Hip and quad strengthening exercises

Monday Feb 19

500 Breast (first 50 hard, 2nd 50 easier)

Felt a really hard session as I was in the medium pace lane and felt like I should be pushing myself. Felt a little bit of a twinge in the back of my left knee on the hard breast stroke legs but not too bad.
Needed to take a few short breaks during the last 500 breast stroke, I was a bit puffed.
Note
(injured)
Left knee is actually not feeling too bad today, I've been having some silly thoughts about what training I can start to do so I'll have to hold myself back. Encouraging signs though.
