Solid race. Goal was to go out at a sustainable pace and try to slow down less. Overall it worked. Walked a bit coming down the ski hill because at that point sub 30 wasn't happening so no reason to push. Left quad acted up near top of fish creek and slowed down next long decent. Never quite got back to 29:30 splits after that. Nutrition was malto and nuun tabs. Took close to 200/hr of that and sprinkled in aid station stuff as it got later. Also had some espresso double shots after giving up caffeine for 3 weeks. Definitely felt the difference.
Newish suunto peak screwed up and jumped from 22 to 44 miles at OLY 1. No idea what happened. Reset it got about 28 hrs with hr monitor. will update mileage and elevation when downloaded.
