Not very good race meant not very good placing especially with an MP. BenJ put in an amazing shift and DJ did well. From the start I spiked 1 then already flopped going to 2 technically. Ran around the site for 4 minutes trying to find it and by that time Eddie had caught me. 3 was good but messed 4 up again by 2 minutes allowing Jleitch and Harrison to catch. From 5-11 was just running with Eddie; quite slow over the terrain but we were technically ok. Different gaffle off from 11 and saw Harrison going over the final lip into the last control and Eddie just behind me. Swiped the last control a little too fast so apparently mispunched but it was in view of the finish.

Allot to work on especially as I was 6 minutes down on fastest time.

Pretty awful result but to be honest I thought some bits were quite fun even though I was dead majority(all) of the course.

Set off way way too fast with the intention of catching Finn #sucess. 1- long leg good route choice good execution. 2- good again this is where I saw Finn; we split off but met at the control. 3,4,5 all good maybe on a couple some dodgy lines that took us 100m away from the controls but swept them up ok. 6 way way too high but corrected ourselves.

Control 7 was really the tp of the race because at this point I had really used all my energy stupidly and had a tiny bit left in the tank physically. Was going to choose the path route to this control which meant very safe but kinda swerved hesitantly with Finn to a part of the map we were unsure about and had crossed the track + climbed all the contours and more than where we needed to be without knowing. Mucked around a bit found the track again then relocated, at this point Laurence had caught us and my head was somehwere else tbh.

Ran far too low for 8 but felt like a complete robot just following.

Going to 9 Finn kept trying to pull me along but I just stopped and lay down for a bit and he went. 2/3 times on the way I took a sit and felt like fainting #pussy.

From then on it was just a walk/ jog when I felt like I could and quite a few more 18 boys and girls just passed me. Almost binned it after 9 but thought ile finish it to see if I can maybe go back to normal. Saw Finn again going to 13 having done the exact same thing as me so we just jogged it in.

Very Very bad fitness.

Road glen run- felt like a robot very tired almost asleep and then legs felt reasonable after about 7km (after the hills) so pushed for some faster splits
