4th m17 -20e
I was a bit rusty at the start, got pushed around by the vegetation a bit. toph showed up on the way to 4. I tried to get away and did on the way to 5 before he caught again. dropped him heading to 10 then screwed 11. still trying to get into rock mapping. need to remember the difference between clusters and individual boulders and also read control descriptions!

ride at woodhill in the bike park. prety cruisy ride. got a bit bored in the middle but was pretty good

oy 6 at kariotahi
did course 2
real windy but was running really well. fully forgot how to orienteer when i started. made a big mistake on 4 and droppd like 4 mins.after that decided to use it as a compass practise exercise. got prety good on the compass by the end.
really happy with ho well i was running

Duathlon race (NZSS multisport) 35:36 [5]

did the mtb and run legs with callum doing the kayak. he cameout in about 5th, moved into first on the mtb and got a big gap then had a solid run and won by quite alot.
plantar fascia hurting a bit during the run but not too bad, strapping helped heaps

pre ran the mtb and the run course for multisport nats. nice cruisy run with brad. legs feeling great and tapping of plantar fascia has helped.

rode whole session in biggest gear
felt prety good, but hard to climb some hills, especially the last hill out of torbay

road ride with sarah. ent from newmarket out to the airport and then back via otara pt england and the waterfront. good ride. legs feeling flat from the run last week but still not too bad. really good to go for a ride with somebody else

spent prety much the whole time on the front of the group. felt good. a pretty hellish headwind heading out and it rained heading back. we caught and passed the st kents team that started infront of us.

race at whitford for the last race of akl sec schools winter series. straight wasted the field.

ak secondary schools mtb relay race
rode with andy mcnab, won by almost a lap. i did the 5 fastest laps haha 3 were back to back. felt prety good despite having done only one ride since worlds.
