terrain intervals with neil jack and a map of angardbergen. good session, 3 sets, 5x 30:30, 1:30, 30:30 with 5 mins between. legs were feeling pretty sweet. did it on pot luck in the thinned bit through all the branches and shit on the ground.

road ride from home to ambers via upper harbour then with amber out to ridge rad and rhead then almost to kumeu where she turned off and rode home. fun as ride, good change to ride with someone. did 2PS 2OS and 2FUT before i got to ambers. legs felt pretty good after bout 40mins

reps at the domain with simon uncle neil james and amber. did 3x 5min with 3min off between. didnt do the fourth cos didnt want to go over 15mins of efforts. legs felt good, got the stability in my stride. actually enjoyed reps for the first time in so long, maybe ever. studied all day so needed to get out

run with james in the waitaks, not too muddy. felt pretty good most of the time, legs felt balanced if that makes sense, and like i was controlling my stride. a bit slower than james on a couple of the steepest bits.

roade form home an around about was to uni. was an ok session, knees are good but dont feel like normal, noticed that cleats are wearing funny. something gimp wrong with me, kinda itb related but i think it stems from hamstrings. put that in the after exams and europe box (with everything else).

day 3 of qb
ran waaaaaay better than the other days, today i actually orienteered instead of just running. caught jack early, dropped him, was sweet through to just after the spectator where i decided that the map and my compass were wrong because i had already decided where to go, dipshit. lost 3mins there, dropped about 2 mins in small errors and slow route choice over the rest and lost to carsten by 3mins. need to eliminate that 1 error in every run. feeling much better about my o and not wanting to give up haha like yesterday. legs felt good as again, though suffered through the last 2km ish

day 2 of qb. lost a shitload of time on the misnumb ered controls also made a massive mistake on 9 because i got into this is a dumb sport mode. after that sped up heaps, was with aaron for a bit and was going hard. enjoyed that bit of the course
