night sprint at massey, real good fun. very cautious at the start and made a mistake on 6 (i think) the one down the bank, only lost about 30sec in the last 3 controls and was sweet apart from that. shins were feeling good as

rode into uni from home. slept in a bit (10.30) and had to rush to get to my 12 oclock lecture. helped with my tiredness, no so much with my productivity. legs felt mint and were turning over really well 3PC 1PS feeling good on a nice crisp autumn day

rode from newmarket home. was all good for first hour then it got dark and light was flat so real slow from allely house to freeridin to get another light. did 2x5 30:30 2PC 2HTS 1HHC
best session in ages, went to elanor yesterday and feeling so good today

run with james at goldies bush. james woke me up in the morning when he came to pick me up cos i was asleep still. outa the house in under 5 mins which i thought was pretty good. legs felt good, not too fast which was perfect. opened it right up on the last climb, legs responsded well and feel pretty loose now

good as session. ou ththrough the back of mt albert to new lynn then glen edan and up mtn road then home via catfood factory and kumeu. rode the whole way up mountain road seated, never done that before and felt like i could have lifted tempo a little. so perhaps training isnt going so bad. knees and legs felt good and reso loose. cold as

got medicine vs law soccer on friday so played a game to see who would be in the team. good times

orienteering score event at stags roar. ran like a gimp. as simon would say i had my gimp as leather hat over my eyes a little too much while he was a gimp who couldnt walk cos his leather pants were too tight. overshot 1 like a retard was sweet for the next 6 controls then stuffed one then 4 or 5 good then stuffed one. was relaxing too much and fighting the terrain. cared too much about going fast. has not been a good two weeks of training

did the d squad forest training today.
first up did an exercise at 1:5000 down on hobbits coast only 7.20 long, went fast, one error but the area where it was is kinda dodge and we all had problems on that one.
next was a simplification exercise, this was good, coastal strip again. only problem i had was that felt like my heart was pumping concrete at one stage then my hr shot up and i got all disorientated. made me stuff a control and i had to sit down for my hr to come right, hit 230 according to my monitor and roughly there acording to my pulse too. very weird. never had that before. last exercise was a team pursuit with me and james. we were both trying hard to drop the other on our legs and cracked james on one of them haha. felt good and was orienteering well, high hr didnt come back despite really pushing it so who knows. was feeling light headed doing the sheep in the morning too when was standing up, could be related.

road ride out to bethels and then back past cat food factory. legs felt good until like 2 hours 5 then they turned shit for some reason, was damn cold and that was when i was startin to get cold. 2x Acc on the hill. surprisingly enjoyable in the mist and rain
